Lauren Hunt oversees the US Science, Technology, and Medicine Journals Editorial Department at SAGE Publications. In addition to leadership at SAGE, Lauren manages some of SAGE's highest profile medical journals. She also serves on several committees working as the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and ethics liaison to the editorial department, disseminating industry news to editorial staff. Lauren joined SAGE in 2012 with a Masters Degree in Education and Bachelors degrees in Communications and History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to SAGE, Lauren taught junior high history in Southern California.
