Maximizing scientific digital exchange at medical conferences
The pandemic forced a seismic shift in how we needed to communicate, educate and form relationships. This changed environment is still evolving and will likely have a long-term impact on scientific exchange, particularly in the context of medical conferences. But many of us are fatigued by our constant online experience. Attention spans are short. We are easily distracted. How best then to stand out and ensure engagement with your scientific content? This roundtable discussion will focus on methods to maximize scientific digital exchange at medical conferences. Key questions will include What platforms are available to support interactions?, What improvements could be made? What lessons and best practices can be applied to future engagements?
Learning objectives:
- Understand the communication preferences of healthcare professionals
- Know what platforms and methods are available for digital scientific exchange and the associated pros and cons
