If you certified or recertified between 2012 - 2016, the CMPP™ certification is valid for five years (until your next recertification), after which, certificants must apply to recertify.

Starting in 2017, candidates who earn their CMPP™ certification will be valid for three years, after which, certificants must apply to recertify.

Recertification can be accomplished in one of two ways:

  • Retake the CMPP™ examination

  • Earn 50 recertification credits over the 5-year certification period or 30 certification credits over the 3-year certification period

  • Were you certified in 2015 or 2017? If yes, then 2020 is your year to recertify!
